White Crowned Snake Relocated

This little White Crowned Snake was found at a client’s home in Redbank recently. These small Elapids are seen fairly often in well water gardens. With the cool weather and lots of rain, they’ve been seeking a bit of shelter and warmth.

There are several species of Crown Snake that occur within the Brisbane region. These include the White Crowned, Dwarf Crowned and Golden Crowned. They feed upon small lizards and frogs and are usually nocturnal.

Our snake catcher Jaedon relocated this one to more suitable bushland habitat nearby.
