Suburb Profiles
Brisbane has numerous suburbs that provide highly favorable conditions that result in both high snake species diversity and density. Naturally occurring features and in some cases the modification of existing habitats sees snakes such as Carpet Pythons, Common Tree Snakes and Eastern Brown Snakes become a common part of the local fauna assemblage. The Snake Catcher Brisbane suburb profiles include such places as The Gap, Chapel Hill, Warner, Pinkenba, Samford and Ipswich all due to the high volume of sightings reported in such suburbs. Each suburb profile presents specific information about your suburb and provides the number for your local Brisbane Snake Catcher.
Trio of Verreaux’s Skinks
Our Catcher Removed a Trio of Skinks
The Verreaux’s Skink is often mistaken for a snake as they have a slender body and slither. The head, visible ears and tiny remnant legs are the best ways to distinguish them from snakes. We recommend getting in contact with a snake service if you are unsure for identification and removal. This trio was relocated by our snake catcher.
